Second Annual CLF Makerfest
Students at CMIT elementary enjoyed participating in the second annual CLF Makerfest. Math Engineering Science Achievements (MESA) and the First LEGO League (FLL) Robotics club was more than ready to showcase their progress in preparation for their competitions. Students presented their STEM fair projects, comic strips, and slime. Students were proud to be a part of this amazing event. Participants enjoyed pizza, face painting, Henna body art, and balloon animals. Some students just came to explore all the amazing creations. The Makerfest welcomed some special visitors such as the Laurel Mayor Craig A. Moe and CLF Chief Executive Officer Hakki Karaman.
